Hello everyone,
I have confused about the parcel size in PIC model. We know that a CFD mesh containing 4-5 particles is a decent size for a CFD-DEM simulation. Should I adjust the mesh size when I change the number of particles per parcel?
For example, if the particle diameter is 1 mm and I set the statistical weight as 8, then the parcel size should be twice the particle size. The decent mesh size should be 8-10mm or bigger than it.
Another question is how I can check the mesh size distribution, and the min/max mesh size report.
Thanks for your help.

You can looks at statistics for the mesh by opening a new Mesh Stats tab (click the “+” sign to create a new visualization tab and select “Mesh Stats”. Then you can look at how various quantities are distributed (select from the list on the left of the histogram).
