Question about the particle penetrate to the geometry

Dear MFIX support team

Hi I am seohee who just used MFIX for DEM simulation with heat transfer

when do simulation, one or certain number of particles go inside of the geometry which show unphysical situation.

I mean the particles cannot go inside of geometry, but during simulation, some particles jump into the inside geometry region so the result of temperature surges up so quickly.

Do you have any clue about this??

I attached a picture

the red particle is inside of the geometry as you can see
I set the mesh like this

and the mesher control is default setting

I only use the pure granular flow for this simluation

Best Regards

Seohee Jang
