Aashish Goyal is an ORISE Research Fellow at NETL. He obtained his Ph.D. working with Dr. Anthony Wachs in Chemical & Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada, and his bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. His experience includes developing high-performance computing codes and numerical methods for flows laden with complex-shaped particles. He is currently working on building radiation models for embedded complex geometries in MFIX-Exa.
