Jordan Musser, Ph.D.

Dr. Musser is a Physical Research Scientist in the Office of Research and Development’s (ORD) Computational Science and Engineering Division (CSED). His education includes a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering was well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics. He joined the NETL Multiphase Flow Team in 2009supporting development of NETL’s open-source, reacting multiphase computational fluid dynamics software suite, MFIX. He presently oversees in-house MFIX development activities and provides support to NETL funded external MFIX development activities. His primary research interests include Eulerian-Lagrangian modeling, reacting multiphase flows, and high performance computing (HPC).
