Colleagues,
Attached is the agenda for the 2018 NETL Workshop on Multiphase Flow Science. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, August 7 through Thursday, August 9, 2018, in Houston, TX. This year’s workshop is being co-sponsored by the University of Houston and Louisiana State University and will be held at the University of Houston’s Student Center. Our thanks to University of Houston and LSU for their support in the organization and logistics for this year’s meeting.
Response to the request for abstracts has been very strong and we appreciate your patience as we have worked to put together the agenda. We have three keynote talks. We also have a panel discussion that will consider the very relevant and challenging topic “How Can Multiphase Flow Modeling Have the Same Impact on Process Industry as Single-Phase Flow Modeling?” . Our thanks to Sreekanth Pannala with Sabic for organizing the panel. We will have an interesting set of technical posters in addition to the presentations. Please let me know if you have questions or corrections to the agenda.
If you haven’t registered for the workshop, please do so at your earliest convenience. Visit our website at https://mfix.netl.doe.gov/invitation-to-netl-2018-workshop-on-multiphase-flow-science for the workshop invitation and instructions to register. Don’t hesitate to contact Bill Rogers or JoAnn DiDomenico with any registration questions.
Thank you again for your continued support of the workshop. We look forward to seeing you in Houston!
Regards,
NETL Multiphase Flow Science Team
