MFiX 17.1 Release note:
The major change /upgrade for this release is the full integration of the newly redesigned Graphical User Interface (GUI) with the flow solver. MFiX is now distributed primarily as a graphical package, where users can set up and run the simulation, and visualize the results from the GUI. The GUI can be installed on Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems. Users can build a custom solver directly from the GUI if they modify the source code, and interact with the solver to modify select parameters during the simulation. Advanced users can still use MFiX from the command line as in previous versions.
