New features:
- Particle initialization file: A new format for the particle initialization input file was implemented.
- Comma separated value (CSV) file called
particle_input.csv
. - This format supports DEM, CGDEM, SQP and GSP models.
- Initial particle positions from this file can be visualized in the model viewport during simulation setup.
- Updates to this file are reflected "live" in the model view.
- Comma separated value (CSV) file called
- Integrated CSV editor for editing keyframe and particle input files.
- New vtk particle data:
- Particle coordination number (number of neighbors in contact with current particle).
- Overlap statistics (minimum, maximum, mean) of overlap between current particle and its neighbors.
- New vtk geometry data:
- Particle collision count on STL facets.
- Normal and tangential forces on STL facets.
- Normal and tangential STL facet velocity.
- User-selectable font size for GUI
Improvements:
- More keyword controls are unlocked when job is paused or resumable.
- Solids time step is recalculated based on particle properties upon restart.
- The particle data output feature is available for glued sphere particle model.
Notable bug fixes:
- Fixed run controls that were disabled when the interactive solver was paused.
