New features:

  • Multi-component diffusion model for the gas phase.
    • Diffusion coefficients are set either as constant or using Lennard-Jones model.
    • Optional thermal diffusion effects.
    • We now solve for (n-1) species equations, i.e. if there are n species, the last species mass fraction is computed as one minus the sum of the (n-1) other species mass fractions.
  • Hertzian model for GSP model.

Improvements:

  • New format for the GSP config file gsp_config.csv.
  • Option to save GSP data as a bounding sphere instead of all component spheres.
  • More accurate way to handle DEM damping for polydisperse systems.
  • More accurate reporting of elapsed and I/O time.
  • Build scripts allow user overriding of module files and parameters, not just functions.

Notable bug fixes:

  • Fixed bugs in the GSP convection heat transfer.
  • Fixed bug in pressure gradient calculation when using internal surfaces with DEM.
