Jeff Dietiker, Ph.D.

Jeff Dietiker is a core developer of the open-source multiphase flow solver MFIX. He has recently implemented the Cartesian grid cut-cell technique into MFIX that allows modeling the complex geometries of reacting multiphase systems. He is currently developing and applying MFIXtwo-fluid-model simulation tools to study various solid sorbent carbon-capture systems, ranging from small scale to pilot scale. His research interests include multiphase flow modeling, development of efficient numerical algorithm, pre- and post-processing of large simulation dataset. He obtained his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Wichita State University, KS.
