The 2024 Multiphase Flow Science Workshop was held from August 13 through August 14, 2024, at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place Hotel, Morgantown, WV. The workshop had 53 registered participants from across many universities, national laboratories, research centers, and industries.
During the two days, 37 presentations were made in areas of interest to the multiphase community such as fundamental research in multiphase flow, advancements in CFD model development for multiphase flows, application of multiphase CFD to industrial systems such as carbon capture, renewable energy, gasification, combustion, chemical and biological processes, and Machine Learning techniques for application to the study of multiphase flows.
